In Bryansk checked complaints about freely walking on the streets of horses

In Bryansk, representatives of the city and district administrations, together with employees of the road administration, checked the addresses where reports of horses walking unattended were received. During the raid on the street Belorusskaya found one mare tied to a tree.

The reason for the inspection was the publication of residents in social networks. Bryansk residents report that animals appear near residential buildings, stops and public buildings, including grazing on lawns and looking for food in dumpsters.

According to the working group, the inspectors once again appealed to the police with a request to identify the owner of the animals and take measures. This is the eleventh appeal on this issue. The document indicated the data and phone number of the alleged owner of the horses.

The city administration previously tried to solve the issue of street animals: owners of farm animals were warned about the prohibition of self-range in the city and possible liability. Horses continue to appear on the streets.

To solve the problem, the authorities have developed a procedure for catching animals. It is assumed that the horses will be placed in a special pen, provided with food and care until the owner is established. To return the animal, the owner will have to pay a fine, as well as the costs of catching, transportation and maintenance.

The implementation of this scheme is still difficult: entrepreneurs who were offered to catch and maintain horses refused to participate. The next meeting with a potential contractor is scheduled for tomorrow.
