In the center of Orenburg detained the owners of spas: seized 13.7 million rubles and $15 thousand

According to police, the 32-year-old and 38-year-old hostess of spas, as well as the 30-year-old administrator they hired, offered clients relaxation treatments and relaxing massages. However, for money, visitors were advised to relax in full - in addition, intimate services were provided here. The women involved two girls aged 21 and 24 in their criminal business.

What is known about the establishments. Intimate services were provided in spas located in the city center.

Criminal proceedings have been instituted for involvement in prostitution. Currently, the investigation is ongoing, operatives check the detainees for involvement in other crimes.

Two points are noteworthy. The first is the amount: seized 13.7 million rubles and 15 thousand dollars indicate that the business worked not the first month and brought serious income. For comparison: this is comparable to the budget of a small enterprise, and not with a one-time part-time job. The second is the wording “involved two girls 21 and 24 years old.” Involvement is a separate corpus delicti and involves not just hiring, but inducing prostitution. It is under this article that the case is initiated. And a separate point: detention in the city center means that the establishments worked openly, under the guise of ordinary SPA-salons, which means that the question of controlling such points arises not only for the police, but also for the city authorities.

And do you think that spas should be more rigorously checked, or the problem is that it is easy to hide illegal business under a legal sign?
