The St. Petersburg Center for Family Planning and Reproduction revealed violations in the provision of medical care. Doctors accepted the patient without a medical card and voluntary consent. This became known from the data of the Prosecutor General.
As the inspection of the Health Committee showed, several violations were committed in the institution when assisting one of the patients. The doctor did not have a standard medical record (Form 003/U). In addition, before the procedures, the woman did not receive written informed voluntary consent.
It also turned out that in the absence of indications for the provision of high-tech care (or if the patient refused it), the specialist did not issue an official medical report. Now Rospotrebnadzor and relevant bodies will understand what happened.
The Center for Family Planning and Reproduction has been operating in St. Petersburg since 1994. The head doctor is Alexander Baldin, he has been managing the institution since 2022. According to Kontur.Focus, the center has three valid licenses. Over the past three years, the organization acted as a defendant in three arbitration cases worth 7.59 million rubles. In addition, 16 lawsuits were filed against the institution in the courts of general jurisdiction.
