In the center of Tambov complete the renewal of the square on October

In Tambov, the improvement of the park on October Street is coming to an end. At the first stage, on the stretch from Nosovskaya to Karl Marx, asphalt and tiles in the pedestrian zone were replaced there, retail stalls and the old transformer substation were removed, and street lighting was modernized.

After the Ministry of Justice of Russia handed over the monument to the city to the lawyer Fedor Plevako, with the assistance of the Governor Evgeny Pervyshov, it was decided to put the entire territory of the square in order. Work on the site from Karl Marx to the Soviet started last autumn. The contractor has already completed about 80% of the tasks: the foundations are concreted, the new sidewalk slabs are almost completely laid instead of the worn ones, the fountain bowls are formed. Now experts are laying power grids for the fountain, which is later lined with granite. Ahead is the installation of new benches and updating the lawn.
