In Chuvashia large-scale celebrated the Day of rural women

In the Chuvash State Philharmonic, the celebration of the Day of rural women was held. Within the framework of the event, the results of the first regional award “Bereginya of the village”, established within the framework of the project “Best in the countryside”, were summed up.

More than 200 women from 21 districts of the republic were nominated for the award. The jury determined ten winners.

In the nomination “Reliable support” won Oksana Popova (Morgaush district), “Mistress of the land” – Ekaterina Pokhodkina (Krasnochetai district), “Creator” – Veronika Belikova (Cheboksary district), “Strength of character” – Kristina Ryabchikova (Mariinsk-Posad district). The title of “Soul of the community” was awarded to Lyudmila Petrova (Yadrin district), “Voice of the village” – Maria Petrova (Ibresin district), “Wisdom of motherhood” – Lilia Ivanova (Red Army district). In the nomination “Development Horizons” Tatiana Susmetova (Yalchik District), “Energy of a New Way” – Anna Eryukova (Shemurshi District) was awarded.

The winner in the nomination “Good deed” was Svetlana Chikmyakova (Vurnar district), engaged in volunteer and humanitarian assistance. The award was presented to her by SVO veteran Dmitry Osipov.

Head of Chuvashia Oleg Nikolaev congratulated the laureates and winners, thanking all the villagers for their contribution to the development of their native territories, the upbringing of children and the preservation of folk traditions.

“For me, this holiday is an opportunity to say thank you to thousands of women who by their work, love and care preserve life in the countryside, raise children, pass on traditions and make their native land better,” the head of the region said.

According to Nikolaev, rural women play an important role in preserving cultural heritage and the continuity of generations. Their work helps develop municipalities and sustain life in villages.

“I am sincerely convinced that it is impossible to imagine neither the present nor the future of Chuvashia without a rural woman,” the Head of the Republic stressed.

Oleg Nikolaev expressed confidence that the holiday will expand annually, uniting more and more participants and opening new names. The Republic will continue to support the initiative together with the municipalities.

In conclusion, the Head of Chuvashia wished women health, family well-being and confidence in the future.
