In December in Kostroma will perform the male choir of the Sretensky monastery

The Department of Culture of the City Hall of Kostroma informs about the upcoming tour in our city of the Orthodox male choir of the Sretensky monastery. The choir operates at the Moscow Sretensky Monastery. Its history dates back more than 600 years and began simultaneously with the foundation of the monastery. The main task of the collective is to participate in divine services: full-time singers sing on the choir at least twice a week.

The New Year concert will be held on December 15 at the Gubernsky CEC. The team will present a spiritual and educational program to Kostromists. From the stage of the CEC "Gubernsky": sacred music, New Year's compositions and patriotic songs will be played, among which the informal hymn of the SVO will be performed
