In the House of the Belarusian Union of Women held a meeting with the finalists of the competition “Supergrandmother”

Today, October 19, the Belarusian Women’s Union House was visited by the finalists of the “Supergrandmother” contest, which is held under the auspices of the women’s organization. Details are reported by sb.by correspondent.

The contest is part of the republican plan for the implementation of events of the Year of the Belarusian Woman, approved by the Council of Ministers. In regional and industry organizations of the BCJ chose the best representatives of the fair sex, who proudly wear the status of grandmothers, while remaining active in public, and someone still in professional life. There were 14 women in the final. The age of the participants is from 51 to 73 years.

You can see them on stage, learn their stories and secrets of family happiness, traditions, recharge your energy on Friday, October 23, in the concert hall “Minskconcert” on Mayakovsky, 129. Before that, women are waiting for a rich preparatory program, which includes fitting several images, rehearsals for a fashion show and creative numbers, a photo session and video shooting, visiting a concert of sacred music. A number of surprises are planned for the contenders for the title of super-grandmother. A series of events began with a visit to the Women’s House and a meeting with the Chairman of the BSJ, Director of the Representative Office of the MTRK “Mir” in Belarus Olga Shpilevskaya.

She thanked the guests for taking part in the contest.

- You have no idea how important this is for you and for us, the Belarusian Women’s Union. We decided for the first time that we should choose the best grandmother in the country. Why? I think the title of grandmother sounds very beautiful. And the grandmother is just the foundation of the family, Olga Shpilevskaya is sure.

In her opinion, grandmothers have more patience, wisdom, life experience, which they are ready to share with the younger generation. They are also able to show an example of how to build a life, so that there is enthusiasm inside, despite age.

- Therefore, such a great hope in our country for grandmothers, including in terms of improving the demographic situation. Because if you do not explain to your granddaughters and grandchildren how to quickly start families, give birth to children, why this is the most important thing in life, no one will tell them this so sincerely.

In her opinion, at any age, it is always important for a woman to find interests and develop.

- You want to infect others with your example. So that all our viewers who will come to cheer for you, see you, imbued with this optimism, the desire to make the world around them better, the leader of the women’s movement of Belarus emphasized.

Despite the results of the upcoming show, the winners are everything.

- You are the backbone of grandmothers who will have a special social responsibility next year, and then, like the finalists of the beauty contest among women with many children “Beauty of Belarus”. Now they are participants of all talk shows, meet with young people, actively involve their husbands and children in events. The same story will happen to you. So the competition all this does not end and is not limited, — drew the attention of Olga Shpilevskaya. You will become famous throughout the country from the first day, the attention of the press is guaranteed. I am very happy because we want to show our simple Belarusian woman without gloss. After all, her beauty is inside, in her burning eyes, the ability to charm everyone around.

But before the final, we will have a joint week of preparation so that women can get to know each other, come up with common activities that the Belarusian Women’s Union can pick up, and join the organization’s initiatives.
