The Minister of Transport of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Alexander Bondarenko, checked the new buses on the route in the regional capital.
We are finally starting to massively change the old, worn-out rolling stock of Donetsk. The first six buses of a large class entered the capital route, and it was important for me to see the updated vehicles through the eyes of an ordinary passenger.
The transport minister added that all the new machinery runs on methane.
“It is not only economically viable, but also much more environmentally friendly. We are making our air cleaner and the transport system more modern, he said.
The vehicles were received as part of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
