Donskoy city court of the Tula region sentenced 56-year-old local resident Valery Antipov, who was found guilty under part 1 of article 264.1 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation - driving a car intoxicated by a person already subjected to administrative punishment. In August, the man, deprived of rights and drunk, was driving his VAZ-21070 on the street Oktyabrskaya in the Central district, where he was stopped by traffic police officers.

Taking into account the position of the state prosecutor, the court appointed Antipov 300 hours of mandatory work with deprivation of the right to engage in activities related to transport management for 2 years and 11 months.

The VAZ-21070 was confiscated to the state.

Earlier, MK in Tula reported on the sentencing of a 40-year-old resident of Dubensky district Mikhail Kazakov, found guilty under Part 1 of Art. 264.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. The incident occurred on April 5, 2026: a man in a drunken state sat behind the wheel of a Chevrolet Lanos, but on Pervomaiskaya Street in the village of Dubna he was stopped by traffic police officers.
