In Yelets through the court returned to the budget almost 1.8 million rubles for splitting the purchase

In Yelets, almost 1.8 million rubles were returned to the municipal budget, which was paid for the reconstruction of the building for the Youth Center. The money was recovered after checking the prosecutor's office, which revealed violations during the procurement.

According to the supervisory authority, instead of one contract for almost 1.8 million rubles, the city capital construction department concluded three contracts with the same enterprise. This fragmentation of procurement has limited the ability of other companies to bid.

The Prosecutor’s office appealed to the arbitration court with the requirement to recognize municipal contracts invalid and return the funds received on them to the budget. The court granted the claim, the decision was executed.
