In Elista held a meeting of women's councils of Kalmykia

Anniversary meeting of the Union of Women of Kalmykia was held in Elista. The event was dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Antifascist Committee of Soviet Women and the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia. The meeting was attended by representatives of the authorities, heads of ministries, delegations of women's councils of all regions of the republic and public figures.

The key moment of the meeting was the presentation of awards. Distinguished members of the Kalmykia Women’s Union and their partners received well-deserved recognition marks. The guests were presented with the anthem of the organization and honored large families - participants of the Family Album contest. Activists exchanged experience of holding district events, and the performances of creative teams provided a festive atmosphere.
