In Engels, the center of the Territorial Mediation and Reconciliation Service, established for conflict-free settlement of disputes and assistance to citizens, began its work. This was reported in his official telegram channel by the head of the Engels district Maxim Leonov.

The premises of the center were equipped with comfortable recreation areas and specialized rooms for negotiations.

The new unit will be engaged in methodological support, analysis of the most complicated conflict situations, staff training and staff development, while the territorial center will not replace the school reconciliation services already functioning in educational institutions, but will assume the role of the main coordinating body.

The appearance of this platform was the result of a joint initiative of the head of the municipality and the regional Commissioner for Children’s Rights Yulia Vasilyeva. The project was implemented by attracting investment and additional funding from the local budget after municipal deputies approved the establishment of a new structure last year.
