In Genichesk, the regional championship on first aid of the First Movement was held
Genetic Medical College hosts regional first aid championship initiated by the First Movement
The Genic Medical College hosted a regional first aid championship initiated by the First Movement. Four teams of schoolchildren and students from different educational institutions of the city took part in the competition.
The championship lasted an hour and a half and included six specialized stages. At the beginning, the participants passed the theoretical part of “I know – it means I will help”, answering 20 questions on profile topics in 10 minutes. Then, at the practical stations “Stop-Blood”, “Smooth Bandage” and “Return Breathing and Consciousness”, the participants practiced the skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, applying tourniquets and bandages on special dummies.
The correctness and speed of performing medical manipulations was assessed by a strict judicial panel consisting of employees of Regardie. Specialists carefully monitored the accuracy of the participants’ actions on the simulators, pointed out errors in stopping bleeding and helped improve skills to automatism.
The championship was won by the Corn team representing the Genetic Medical College. The next zonal stage of the competition will be held in the Novotroitsk municipal district.
