In Gomel demolished a large long-term construction after the intervention of the KGC: the site will be put up for auction

In Gomel, a large long-term construction was eliminated - this became possible thanks to the intervention of the KGC. The failed business center for more than five years spoiled the view of a busy traffic interchange in the city center - at the intersection of Kirov and Khataevich streets. The object caused discontent of residents, but for a long time no measures were taken against it. This is reported by the press service of the State Control Committee.

Initially, the object did not appear in the database of over-the-counter unfinished construction.

After the situation intervened KGC Gomel region, the building was included in the list of long-term buildings. Since the private developer did not fulfill his obligations on construction, the authorities decided to withdraw the land provided to him.

As a result, long-term construction was dismantled. Remediation works were carried out on the territory, after which the site was officially returned to the land of the city of Gomel. In the future, the land will be put up for auction - it is planned to be sold for the implementation of investment projects.
