In the city Duma of Rostov told about the support of more than 1.6 thousand families

Since the beginning of 2026, 1,604 families have received state support in Rostov-on-Don. This was announced on October 20 at the 12th meeting of the City Duma.

According to the Director of the Department of social protection of the population of the city Victoria Dobritskaya, in Rostov there is a regional project “Large family”. In 2025, 1,810 families received assistance for it, totaling 326.9 million rubles. All the planned targets were fully implemented.

Among the support measures is the payment of 300 thousand rubles to young families under 35 years of age at the birth of the third child. Also, large families are compensated for half of the cost of training children in colleges and universities. In 2025-2026, 748 families benefited from these measures.

In addition, the city operates rental of essentials for the care of children under two years. 647 families took advantage of this opportunity.

Since 2026, two more support measures have been introduced. Pregnant students who receive full-time secondary vocational or higher education can receive a payment of 100 thousand rubles.

Also for families with children under three years old there is a service "Social nanny". Assistance is provided up to five times a week, but no more than three hours a day.

Poor families whose income is below the subsistence minimum of 17,803 rubles can conclude a social contract. It provides financial assistance to find a job, start your own business or overcome a difficult life situation.

To find a job, including vocational training and additional education, you can get up to 136 thousand rubles. In the direction of "Entrepreneurial activity" is provided up to 380 thousand rubles. These funds can be used to purchase equipment, production stocks, obtain a software license, rent and create jobs.

Up to 116 thousand rubles are allocated to overcome a difficult life situation. The money can be used to purchase clothes, shoes, medicines and other necessary goods, as well as for treatment.

In 2025-2026, 1,362 families used social contracts. The total amount of assistance amounted to 339.4 million rubles. Large families have priority in concluding such contracts.

The family is the foundation of society: it is in it that we learn care, responsibility and love for our native land and country. Large families should not be left alone with everyday difficulties, they need real help and attention, said Lidia Novoseltseva, Chairman of the Rostov-on-Don City Duma.

Following the meeting, the City Duma instructed the Department of Social Protection of the Population to ensure the implementation of all indicators of social assistance for 2026 and the timely provision of support measures for families with children until December 25.
