In the state Duma want to freeze the growth of housing
In the state Duma introduced a bill that prohibits to increase the fee for housing more than once a calendar year
Deputies propose: first, to enshrine in the Housing Code the rule: the fee increases no more than once a year. Secondly, to prohibit the establishment of limit indices above the consumer price index for the previous year. That is, tariffs will not be able to outpace official inflation.
Why is that necessary? The authors of the bill are confident that people will trust the housing sector more, and the burden on family budgets will decrease. And there will still be an opportunity to compensate resource-supplying organizations for falling revenues from the budget – that is, business will not suffer.
Now the basis for the formation of indices of payment for communal services approved by the government decree of 2014. The new bill should amend Article 157.1 of the LCD of the Russian Federation.
