The prosecutor of the Leningrad district of Kaliningrad checked the conditions of detention of the convicts in the correctional center No. 1 of the regional Federal Penitentiary Service.

During the inspection, he assessed whether the rights of convicts, sanitary requirements and standards of household security are respected.

The prosecutor also met with people serving sentences of forced labor. They discussed how to return to normal life after punishment and prevent new offenses.
