In Ivanovo, schoolchildren were helped to determine their future profession

In the Ivanovo region, a regional career guidance forum "Russia - my horizons" was held. The venue of the event was the Center for Advanced Professional Training. The meeting brought together 100 pupils of the eighth and ninth grades from different districts of the region and 60 specialists involved in the implementation of the vocational guidance system.

Among the guests were representatives of education authorities, school navigators, heads of educational institutions, employees of colleges and employment centers. Participants were told about the required specialties and opportunities for professional development in the region.

For schoolchildren, excursions to four Ivanovo colleges, a meeting with the employer and a professional test using virtual reality glasses were organized. There was also an open lesson of the regional section of the course “Russia is my horizons” on the topic “Ivanovo region is a forge of effective personnel”.

A single model of career guidance has been operating in the region since 2023. In the academic year 2026-2027, 238 educational organizations joined it, classes cover more than 31 thousand students from the sixth to the eleventh grade. Over the previous academic year, more than a thousand schoolchildren tried themselves in various professions, more than seven thousand visited enterprises, and more than one and a half thousand attended master classes.
