In the Ivanovo region another 275 people will be resettled from emergency housing

In 2026 in the Ivanovo region in the framework of the federal project “Housing” (part of the national project “Infrastructure for life”) new housing or monetary compensation received 135 immigrants. The total area of the resettled emergency fund was more than 2.5 thousand square meters. This is reported by the press service of the regional government.

In total, by the end of the year it is planned to settle 275 people from 4.7 thousand square meters of dilapidated houses. The program will cover seven municipalities: the cities of Ivanovo, Kineshma, Kokhma, as well as Zavolzhskoye, Lezhnevskoye, Savinsky and Furmanovskoye urban settlements. In the Lezhnevsky settlement, work on this stage has already been fully completed.

Financing of the program in 2026 will amount to 290 million rubles. Funds are allocated from the federal and regional budgets, co-financing is provided at the municipal level.

“Financing for the implementation of the stage of 2026, the regional targeted program for the resettlement of citizens from emergency housing for 2024-2030 was allocated by the Fund for the Development of Territories – the federal operator of the resettlement program,” the department of housing and communal services of the Ivanovo region explained.

Systematic work in this direction has been underway since 2019. During this time, 2.33 thousand residents of the region received new housing or compensation, 40.47 thousand square meters of emergency houses were liquidated.

A significant achievement was 2024: The Ivanovo region prematurely completed the resettlement of citizens from housing recognized as emergency before January 1, 2017.
