In the Ivanovo region will be raids to identify drunk drivers

In the coming weekend, employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate will hold a large-scale operational and preventive event in the Ivanovo region to identify drunk drivers.

Drunk driving is one of the main causes of severe accidents. Accidents caused by drunk drivers often lead to death or serious injuries, as alcohol slows down the reaction and makes it impossible to adequately assess the traffic situation.

State traffic inspection reminds of the responsibility for driving under the influence: this is a fine of 45 000 rubles, deprivation of the right to drive for a period of 1.5 to 2 years.

In case of repeated violation - criminal liability (a fine of up to 300-500 thousand rubles. or imprisonment).

The State Traffic Inspectorate urges citizens to report drunk drivers by phone: (4932) 32-50-38 or 30-44-35.
