In Izhevsk massively prepare trees for winter

In Izhevsk began a campaign to prepare trees for the winter season. We explain why this is done:

thanks to pruning, road signs, traffic lights and lights remain clearly visible - branches should not interfere with traffic participants

a competent “haircut” helps plants live longer, makes them stronger and maintains a well-groomed appearance of the city

the wind load is reduced so that heavy snowfall or sharp gusts of wind do not break branches and provoke emergency situations

Work is carried out in the safest period for trees - when they are at rest after leaf fall and before the start of scooping.

This season, the pruning will affect the streets of Avtozavodskaya, 10 years of October, 40 years of Victory, Lenin, Kommunari, May, 9 January and other areas with heavy traffic and pedestrians.

The list is updated taking into account the condition of trees, appeals of citizens and the requirements of regulatory authorities. A total of 3,500 trees are planned to be processed.
