In Izhevsk convicted 15-year-old teenager after the shooting at the market
The incident occurred six months ago on Dzerzhinsky Street.
A 15-year-old schoolboy who staged a shooting at a market in Izhevsk appeared before the court. This was reported from the joint press service of the courts of Udmurtia.
The incident occurred on the afternoon of March 24, 2026 on Dzerzhinsky Street. A masked teenager, motivated by national hatred, twice fired a signal gun in the face of a 30-year-old man.
"The victim was injured in the form of abrasions," the press service explained.
The minor was charged with hooliganism with the use of an object used as a weapon committed on grounds of national hatred (part 2 of article 213 of the criminal code). The defendant pleaded guilty.
The court sentenced the student to 1.5 years of suspended imprisonment with probation for 2 years.
