In Kaliningrad in a fire in a nine-storey house killed a woman with 20 cats

Yesterday, October 24, in Kaliningrad, a fire occurred in a nine-storey residential building on April 9. A woman died as a result of the fire. This was reported in the EMERCOM of Russia in the Kaliningrad region.

The incident was reported by the Sistema-112 operator at 22:59. In a four-room apartment on the fourth floor, household waste and accumulated things caught fire. The fire covered an area of 20 square meters.

During the extinguishment, firefighters found a woman in one of the rooms without signs of life. The doctors who arrived confirmed her death. 17 people were evacuated from the house, two victims were taken to the Central City Clinical Hospital. In addition, as a result of the fire killed more than 20 cats who were in carriers inside the apartment.

Emergencies Ministry employees eliminated the fire and conducted smoke removal. To extinguish involved 33 personnel and 13 pieces of equipment. Currently, experts determine the cause of the fire and all the circumstances of the incident.
