In the Kaliningrad region seized more than 120 kilograms of illegally obtained fish

Since the beginning of October, more than 120 kilograms of illegally obtained fish have been seized in the Kaliningrad region. This was reported in the West Baltic territorial administration of Rosrybolovstvo.

The inspectors conducted 73 field inspections of water bodies and 24 joint raids with the police, Regardie and representatives of public associations.

During the inspections, 36 administrative offenses related to violation of fishing rules were revealed. Another 21 protocols were drawn up for violations in water protection zones and non-compliance with the rules for the protection of aquatic biological resources.

The total amount of fines amounted to 197 thousand rubles, damage was estimated at 27.5 thousand rubles. Also seized seven vehicles and 30 prohibited logging nets with a total length of about 1.5 thousand meters.
