In the Kaliningrad region for eight months produced 211.1 million eggs

In farms of all categories of the Kaliningrad region in January-August 2026 produced 211.1 million eggs. This is 1.9% more than in the same period last year. This is evidenced by the data of Kaliningradstat.

At the same time, at the end of 2025, egg production in the region amounted to 316.5 million pieces, which is 1.0% less than a year earlier. The highest values over the past ten years, production reached in 2023 - more than 329 million units.

The bulk of production in 2025 was produced by agricultural organizations and farms – they account for 87.8%. The share of households of the population was 12.2%.

In the retail sector, egg sales tended to grow over the decade. The exceptions were 2020, when the physical volume index decreased by 6.9%, and 2025 - a decrease of 5.8%. The highest sales growth was recorded in 2023 (+5.7%).

In monetary terms, the volume of retail sales of eggs in 2025 amounted to 1.9 billion rubles.
