In Kaliningrad region imported more than 8.2 thousand tons of bananas from Ecuador
From January 1 to October 18, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kaliningrad region conducted quarantine phytosanitary control of more than 8.2 thousand tons of imported bananas. This was reported in the press service of the department.
From January 1 to October 18, specialists of the Rosselkhoznadzor Department for the Kaliningrad region conducted quarantine phytosanitary control of more than 8.2 thousand tons of imported bananas. This was reported in the press service of the department.
The main supplier was Ecuador, from where 8.2 thousand tons were brought. Another 43 tons of bananas came from Guatemala. From 1 to 18 October alone, inspectors monitored the import of 40 consignments weighing 671 tons from Ecuador.
When the cargo arrived, specialists took samples and checked shipping documentation. According to the conclusions of the Kaliningrad branch of the FGBI "ARRIAH", no quarantine objects in bananas have been identified. All products are issued acts allowing its use for its intended purpose.
More than 1.2 thousand tons of fish were sent from Kaliningrad to 11 regions of Russia.
