In Kalmykia, more than 33 thousand children receive a single allowance

Since the beginning of 2026, more than 3.8 billion rubles have been allocated to support families with children in Kalmykia. A single benefit for nine months appointed more than 33.5 thousand children, as well as 937 pregnant women.

The amount of payment depends on the family income and is 50, 75 or 100 percent of the subsistence minimum. For children in 2026, it is equal to 18,003 rubles, for the working population - 20,230 rubles. As a result, parents receive from 9 to 18 thousand rubles, future mothers - from 10.1 to 20.2 thousand rubles.

The benefit is granted to families whose income does not exceed the regional subsistence minimum. Salary, scholarships, pensions, alimony, income from business and deposits are taken into account. The income of each able-bodied family member must be at least 8 minimum wage per year (216 744 rubles), however, there are exemptions for those who did not work for a good reason. Interest on deposits should not exceed 18 560 rubles.

The calculation excludes previously paid single allowance for children on whom the application is submitted, maternity capital, payments under the social contract, income of mobilized and earnings of adolescents. You can apply for a benefit through the portal of public services.
