In Kalmykia ex-taxman dismissed due to loss of trust

The Prosecutor’s office of Kalmykia in court has achieved a change in the basis and wording of the dismissal of a former employee of the tax authority.

The supervisory body found that from September 2024 to May 2025, the head of the cameral control of the Federal Tax Service of Russia in the Republic of Kazakhstan transferred for payment to third parties information constituting tax secrecy. Earlier, he was convicted under Part 3 of Art. 183 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal disclosure of information constituting tax secrecy). If there were grounds for his dismissal due to loss of confidence, he resigned on his own initiative.

The prosecutor’s office sent a lawsuit to the court to change the grounds for dismissal. The court satisfied the claims, the grounds and wording of the dismissal were changed. The former manager is included in the public register of persons dismissed due to loss of trust.
