Number of employed livestock breeders increased by 50% in Kalmykia

In the Republic of Kalmykia, the number of employed specialists in the field of animal husbandry increased by 50% over the year - six people found work. This was reported in the personnel center of the region.

Mechanization specialists are also in demand in the agricultural industry: ten people were employed per year. Three more residents of the republic got jobs as operators of irrigation and filtration fields.

In total, in 2026, 42 people applied to the personnel center looking for work in agriculture and processing industry. Last year, there were 61 such appeals.

Specialists of the center help applicants to find work, and enterprises to choose employees with the necessary skills and experience. In agriculture, it is important not just to close a vacancy, but to choose a person whose skills and experience correspond to the tasks of a particular enterprise. Therefore, the emphasis is on direct interaction with employers and on helping applicants – from participation in job fairs to vocational training.
