In Kalmykia will award hero fathers and arrange a family holiday

National Museum of Kalmykia named after N.N. Palmov organizes the celebration of Father's Day. This year the museum has a special program.

Today, October 16, at the exhibition site "Great Victory", a solemn ceremony of awarding the medal of public recognition "Father of the Soldier" will be held. The award, established by the All-Russian public movement “Fathers of Russia”, will be awarded to fathers whose sons perform military service.

On October 17, at 12 o’clock, the museum will open its doors for a family program. All fathers with children will be able to take free tours of the most interesting expositions and take part in the intellectual quiz "Jeopardy".

“We strive to create a warm holiday atmosphere and to respect the institution of fatherhood. Our program will allow families to spend time together, learn something new and get an unforgettable experience.
