Last week in Gorodovikovo district, veterinarians conducted regional command and staff exercises to eliminate the conditional epizootic focus of anthrax.
The practical part of the exercises was held in the city of Gorodovikovsk together with the local municipality.
As noted in the Department of Veterinary Science of the region, the purpose of the exercises was not just to assess the readiness of forces, means and material and technical base, but to work out the coherence of actions and operational interaction of municipalities and specialists of the state veterinary service.
