In the House of Culture of the village of Arshan-Bulg Tselinsky district, a district competition of Kalmyk language connoisseurs "Kuchta Khalmg Keln" was held.

Intellectual competitions were dedicated to the memory of the veteran of the Great Patriotic War Peter Dordjievich Burchiev.

The event is aimed at perpetuating the name of the great connoisseur of the Kalmyk language, preserving and developing the national culture, as well as popularizing the traditional form of Kalmyk oral folk art.

On this day, students of educational institutions and residents of the Tselina district gathered at one site. Participants demonstrated deep knowledge of their native language, artistry and love for the cultural heritage of their ancestors.
