During October, specialists of the Republican Oncology Dispensary named after E. Timoshkaeva in Elista conduct the action “Pink Ribbon”, aimed at the prevention and early detection of breast cancer.
On October 3 and 10, doctors received 60 people, performed 50 mammograms, 50 ultrasounds and took 18 samples for cytological examination. According to the results of examinations, two women revealed malignant neoplasms. Another five patients were recommended additional examination.
Open Days are held in the dispensary during October every Saturday.
