On October 17, the temperature record of 109 years ago was broken in Kazan, Tatar-inform reports, referring to the Hydrometeorological Center of the Republic of Tatarstan. Thermometers at the Kazan weather station rose to +18.7 degrees. The previous absolute maximum temperature for October 17 was recorded at the weather station of Kazan University in 1917. Toga air warmed up to +17.0 degrees.
