In the Kherson region will repair more roads than planned

In 2026, more than 270 kilometers of regional and inter-municipal roads are planned to be brought to the normative state in the Kherson region. This figure exceeds the initial plan, reports the Khan with reference to the head of the Directorate for the development of road transport infrastructure Ilya Tagamlyk.

Initially, the program of socio-economic development provided for the restoration of almost 130 kilometers of roads. Due to the effective use of funds, this figure was raised to 155.2 kilometers. Work is carried out in parallel in several areas: within the framework of the program of socio-economic development, a special infrastructure project and with the participation of the chief region.

In the main areas, more than 80% of the planned volume has already been completed. The indicator on the main road network also exceeds 80%. In total, over 2023-2025 in the Kherson region, more than 906 kilometers of highways were brought to the normative state.
