In the Kherson region, eight hospital employees were punished for violations in procurement

The Prosecutor’s office of the Nizhneseroguz district of the Kherson region revealed violations of the legislation on public procurement in four medical institutions of the region. As a result of the audit, eight officials were brought to administrative and disciplinary responsibility.

The inspection affected the Velikolepetikhskaya, Verkhnerogachikskaya, Gornostaevskaya and Nizhneserogaz Central District Hospitals.

As established in the Prosecutor’s office, medical institutions concluded state contracts with commercial organizations for the supply of goods, work and services. Obligations under contracts were fulfilled on time, however, information on their performance was not timely posted in the Unified Information System in the field of procurement.

In addition, hospitals violated the terms of payment for works and services of entrepreneurs. Such violations were revealed for 133 state contracts concluded in 2025 and over the past period of 2026.

The prosecutor's office made representations to the chief doctors of the institutions, and in respect of the responsible employees initiated cases of administrative offences. After considering the acts of prosecutorial response, violations were eliminated, and eight officials were held administratively and disciplinaryly liable.
