A notary from Kineshma, Irina Deikalo, held a consultation for older people at the local comprehensive social service center. The meeting was held as part of the program of notarial assistance to elderly citizens, it was attended by 11 people.
The specialist explained how to issue a testamentary order for money in the bank and what should be done to the heirs after the death of the account holder. To obtain an inheritance, it is necessary to contact a notary at the place of its opening within six months. After requesting the bank and confirming the information, the heirs are issued a certificate of inheritance.
A separate topic was the methods of real estate fraud and precautions when concluding transactions. Irina Deikalo noted that notarial inspection helps to reduce risks: a specialist requests relevant information from state registers and checks the legal purity of the object. At the end of the meeting, the notary answered the questions of the participants.
