In Kirovo-Chepetsk set a trap for catching a wild fox

Employees of the veterinary department, the Center for the Protection and Use of Animal World, representatives of the society of hunters and fishermen, as well as emergency services of the region joined the settlement of the situation.

After evaluating the situation, experts decided to place a special cage-trap with bait to safely remove the beast from the urban environment.

After successful capture, the fox will be sent for examination to veterinarians.

If experts confirm that the animal is healthy and does not pose an epidemiological threat, it will be released back to its natural habitat at a safe distance from populated areas.

Such visits of forest dwellers to residential areas require increased caution from the local population. In this regard, experts strongly advise residents not to try to feed predators.

Affordable food violates the natural instincts of wild animals and makes them habitually return to people in search of easy prey.
