In Kislovodsk for the first time build a capital fence around the cemetery on Sedlogorsk

In Kislovodsk began to install a capital fence around the cemetery on Sedlogorskaya Street. In the history of this burial place, such a wall has not yet been here. This was reported by the head of the city Yevgeny Moiseev.

The contractor has already made the markings and dug holes for strengthening the future wall. Work is scheduled to be completed by November 15, 2026. The cemetery on Sedlogorskaya is one of the largest in the city: it includes the old part along Sedlogorskaya Street and the site at the top of Revolution Street.

The first burials here date back to 1956. This place keeps the memory of people and the history of our city, so there should be order and decent conditions for visitors, the mayor said.

The fence will be metal, made according to Swiss technology. Its length will exceed 500 meters, the height will be 3.5 meters, will provide about ten entrances 2.5 meters wide. More than 13.5 million rubles were sent to work.

Evgeny Moiseev also recalled that there are memorial places on the territory, including a monument to the fallen heroes of the Civil War over the cliff of the White River.
