The thematic hour “Father! – it sounds proud” was held in the Korobkovo library
In the Korobkovo library, the thematic hour “Father!” was held. Young readers got acquainted with the history of the holiday: they learned when the tradition of celebrating Father’s Day appeared and how it is celebrated in different countries.
The librarian reviewed the books from the thematic exhibition. It was a collection of works that revealed the image of the father – not always perfect, but sincerely loving his children. Such love, as noted at the meeting, can warm and touch even the most demanding reader.
The children actively discussed the role of the father in the family - his care and support, shared memories, recalled funny and truly inspiring stories from life. And then with great pleasure began to work: they made greeting cards and drew drawings for their favorite dads to please them on the holiday.
The meeting turned out to be homely warm and creative. She reminded all participants how important it is not to postpone kind words – and often talk to loved ones about their love and gratitude.
