In Kostroma on November 9 will launch a new traffic light at the residential complex "Forest Quarter"

At the exit from the residential complex "Forest Quarter" on the Kineshem highway in Kostroma completed the installation of a new traffic light. The facility is currently operating in yellow blink mode, alerting drivers to readiness for work.

According to the Department of road activities, the full inclusion of the device is scheduled for November 9.

The main goal of the new facility is to eliminate the focus of accidents. According to the agency, the intersection is considered a conflict: accidents here often occurred due to the fact that drivers could not agree on the advantage when passing.

After the launch, traffic will be strictly regulated: 80 seconds of the green signal will be received by cars moving along the Kineshem highway, and only 20 seconds - those who leave the Forest Quarter or turn from the new stadium.

Specialists will monitor the traffic situation. If the chosen timing provokes traffic jams, the traffic light mode will be promptly adjusted.
