On October 25, a charity evening "Gypsy Rhythms - for Life" will be held at the Maysky Cultural Center. Representatives of the Kostroma Roma community will join the fundraising for the treatment of 13-year-old Andrei Gotovtsev.
All proceeds from the sale of tickets will be spent on the purchase of an expensive drug necessary for the boy. Andrei suffers from Duchenne myodystrophy, a rare disease whose treatment requires significant financial costs.
The cost of the drug is about 220 million rubles. The organizers hope that the charity event will help to bring the necessary amount closer and give the family the opportunity to purchase the drug.
