In Kostroma will choose the best national guard of the year

In Kostroma, the eleventh city competition for the title of the best people’s vigilante in 2026 began. The organizers expect to attract more residents to maintain public order and to mark the most effective participants of voluntary squads.

Representatives of two associations will compete for the victory: “Assistance of the Internal Affairs Department in the city of Kostroma” and the Cossack squad of the Kostroma City Cossack Society. Contestants will have to pass a test of knowledge of criminal and administrative legislation, answer questions about law enforcement, show first aid skills, solve a practical problem and demonstrate physical training.

Winners will be determined in several categories, including legal training, assistance to victims, physical indicators and among young people. The main title will be given to the participant who scored the highest number of points for all tests. He will represent Kostroma at the regional stage of the competition.
