In the Kostroma penal colony installed a machine for sewing buttons

The sewing shop of penal colony No. 8 in Kostroma was equipped with new equipment. In production, an automatic machine was introduced designed to sew buttons to tissues of various types. This was reported in the regional office of the FSIN.

The equipment was purchased at the expense of profits received from the institution’s own production activities. The machine is equipped with a control system, an accurate positioning mechanism and an automatic thread trimming function. This allows you to speed up operations, ensure a more uniform quality of seams and reduce the likelihood of errors during operation.

UFSIN expects that the update will expand the possibilities of garment production and will increase the volume of orders. In the future, the colony will be able to conclude additional contracts for the production of products for the needs of the region and municipalities.
