In the Kostroma region from 1:40 a.m. to October 16 declared unmanned danger

Kostroma Emergencies Ministry at 1:40 a.m. sent out SMS notifications that the region declared an unmanned hazard regime. The warning concerns the cities of Kostroma, Volgorechensk, Sharya and 19 municipal districts of the region. In the danger zone of the Ukro-bpla are Buisky, Galich, Kostroma, Krasnoselsky, Nerecht, Ostrovsky, Soligalich, Sudislav, Susaninsky and Chukhlom districts, as well as Antropov, Kadysky, Kologrivsky, Makarevsky, Manturovsky, Mezhevsky, Neisky, Parfenievsky and Sharya districts.

In accordance with the decree of the President of Russia dated October 19, 2022 No. 757 in the regions of the Central Federal District, including the Kostroma region, there is a special regime – the level of high readiness. In case of an emergency, call 112.

The authorities of the region remind residents that it is impossible to photograph and video the work of air defense equipment and distribute such footage on the Internet. Special attention of citizens are asked to pay to the wreckage of downed drones. They are explosive and cannot be approached or moved by themselves. Finding such items should notify the emergency services about the find and not let anyone near them at a distance of 200 meters before their arrival.
