In the Kostroma region installed an observation deck around 295-year-old pine

ANO "Galician Province" in its official VK-public reports on the implementation of the project "Urom pine". Urom pine is a tree growing near the village of Urma, Kologriv district. It is a monument to wildlife, its age is estimated by biologists at 295 years - that is, it began to grow under Peter the Great.

The project “Urom pine implemented by local entrepreneur Alexander Levchenko with the grant support of ANO “Galician Province” . Thanks to his initiative, a gazebo is equipped near the historical tree and a wooden flooring with railings and stairs, as well as a navigation indicator, information stands, thanks to which tourists will be able to learn more about the history of this unique tree and the natural heritage of the region, as well as relax in the environment of nature.

At the same time, the flooring around the tree will protect its root system from trampling and turning the Urom pine into a tourist attraction will not affect the health of the tree.
