In the Krasnoarmeysky municipal district of Chuvashia for the first time summed up the results of the contest “It is good to live in the village”. The winner was the village of Yamanaki, whose team will receive a certificate worth 25 million rubles for the implementation of the development program over the next five years.

The final event took place on October 17. The project, initiated by the head of the district Pavel Semenov, took place six months and included three stages: the study of territories, the development of initiatives and public protection of ready-made programs.

In the final came the teams of seven settlements. The participants presented proposals for the development of infrastructure, social sphere, tourism and improvement, paying special attention to increasing the attractiveness of the village for young people.

The second place was taken by the village of Burmunduki. She will receive a certificate for 5 million rubles. Five more finalists – Karaevo, Vurmankasy, Ubeevo, Yustva and Yanshihovo-Chella – were awarded certificates of 100 thousand rubles.

“Our goal is not just to provide grants, but to give our villages a point of growth. It is important to show that each village has a future, that it is possible to develop, raise children and be needed in their native land, said Pavel Semenov.

As part of the competition, participants also got acquainted with measures to support entrepreneurship, opportunities to attract grants and tools for territorial branding. According to the organizers, the project helped to identify new leaders of social development and prepare practical solutions for the future of rural areas.
