In Krasnodar honored the memory of police officers who died in the service

In the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Krasnodar, a rally was held in memory of the law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty. Participants of the event honored the memory of employees who gave their lives for the safety of citizens. This was reported in the press service of the city administration.

The event was attended by relatives and friends of the victims, the leadership of the city police, representatives of the Public Council and veteran organizations. Participants observed a minute of silence and laid flowers at the plaques.

Head of the Public Security and Law Enforcement Administration of Krasnodar Sergey Grishko addressed the families of the victims and noted that the city should keep the memory of their feat. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Krasnodar Andrei Platonov stressed that police service requires courage and is associated with daily risk.

After the rally in the Church of the Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos with the support of the Ekaterinodar diocese, a mortuary lithium was held. It remembered Krasnodar employees who died in the line of duty.

Recall that on November 8, Russia celebrates the Day of Remembrance of employees of internal affairs bodies who died in the performance of official duties.
