In Krasnodar started the forum “Civil solidarity” on the unity of peoples

In Krasnodar, the seventh forum of public associations “Civil Solidarity” was opened in the Youth House. This year it is held under the motto “Krasnodar multinational: in unity our strength”. The participants discussed the cultural diversity of the city, the role of the media and joint initiatives of public organizations.

Representatives of creative and youth unions, national communities, clergy, media and students gathered at the venue. The participants were welcomed by the Deputy Head of the City Alexander Borodavka, Acting Chairman of the City Duma Sergey Vasin and Chairman of the Public Chamber of Krasnodar Ivan Vlasenko.

Alexander Borodavka noted that the forum is held for the seventh time and the number of participants is growing annually. Sergey Vasin stressed the commonality of the peoples of Russia and called respect and mutual understanding important. Ivan Vlasenko drew attention to the identity of the Krasnodar Territory and the role of the forum in the development of new initiatives and projects.

On the first day, open discussions were held on the role of the media in strengthening interethnic harmony, the interaction of different cultures in everyday life and the historical roots of the unity of the peoples of Russia. Guests were also waiting for the performances of creative teams and the historical game “What do I know about neighbors?”. The forum will last until December 3.

As MK in Kuban noted earlier, the Krasnodar Youth House opened a project for future volunteers.
