In Kugesy passed a cyber lesson for parents

School No. 1 of the village of Kugesi held a cyber lesson for parents from the Cheboksary, Morgaush and Yadrin districts. Experts and psychologists spoke about the hidden threats of the Internet and the risks that children may face in social networks and online communities.

Participants were told that seemingly harmless videos and cartoons could hide dangerous communities where minors are influenced by strangers.

The main condition for digital security experts called the trusting relationship between children and parents. Adults were advised to be interested not only in the child’s school success, but also in his activity on the Internet, discuss possible risks without excessive prohibitions and listen carefully to children without judging them.

According to the participants of the meeting, it is important to create an atmosphere in which the child can seek help from loved ones, rather than seeking support in anonymous chat rooms.

The event was held within the framework of the national project “Youth and Children” and the regional project “All the best for children”.
